Welcome to
Harpenden Riding for the Disabled

The Harpenden RDA Group

Harpenden RDA Group is a charity based in Hertfordshire that has provided safe and fun horse riding experiences for people with physical and/or learning difficulties... and has been doing so for over 25 years. There are a variety of ways to get involved: by participating as a rider, volunteering as a helper, donating, or simply spreading the word about our cause.

Volunteering is not only
rewarding, but a great way to make new friends.

We welcome support
via donations, fund-raising and spreading the word.

Our Sessions

Every Wednesday, we run two, instructor-led sessions for riders.   All sessions are conducted outdoors ...in one of the Sandridgebury all-weather menages, or we go out on a hack in the various routes through the surrounding fields. We are proud to say we operate all year round - weather permitting.

Wednesdays:
1st Session     4:15pm
2nd Session    5:00pm

Where we are based

Harpenden RDA operates out of the stables at Sandridgebury Riding School in Hertfordshire. It is conveniently accessed from Harpenden, St Albans, and Wheathampstead.
